The saga of Denis Villeneuve returns to cinemas on February 28. With it, the virtuosity of a soundtrack which already characterized its first part. In 2022, sound designers from Dune won the Oscar for best sound. The statuette rewarded unconventional work in the world of science fiction. While the construction of a strange world usually involves the use of electronic sounds, Dune uses thousands of familiar, everyday sounds, worked in the style of a documentary.
