As more and more players pay the price for Savannah’s error on Warzone, here are multiple ways to try to get rid of it. We are certainly far from the miracle solution, but until a patch is deployed, it’s always taken!

If having to deal with the abundance of bugs and the omnipresence of cheaters on Warzone is not easy every day, these are far from being the only problems of the battle royale. Sometimes problems arise before players have even been able to access the battlefield.

Over the months, players have faced multiple server errors and issues that have blocked them from accessing the battle royale, but luckily there are workarounds.

Here are various options to fix to attempt to fix the Savannah error, which has recently been preventing players from joining their friends on Warzone.

For PC gamers, there are a few simple solutions that may be enough to fix the problem.

Update Warzone

It may seem trivial, but with all the updates that are linked to the battle royale, we quickly forget to keep the game up to date and this can quickly become a problem.

To update Warzone all you have to do is:

  • Launch Warzone
  • Check the version of Warzone used
  • Choose to update the game
  • Then ensure that all current updates are installed
  • If not, install them and restart the game.

Delete files

If the above solution didn’t work, then we’ll have to take a look in the Modern Warfare files.

Go to Modern Warfare files and delete the following files:

  • code_post_gfx.psob
  • data0.dcache
  • data1.dcache
  • techsets_captive.psob
  • techsets_common.psob
  • techsets_common_base_mp.psob
  • techsets_common_mp.psob
  • techsets_common_sp.psob
  • techsets_estate.psob
  • techsets_global_stream_mp.psob
  • techsets_lab.psob
  • techsets_mp_frontend.psob
  • techsets_stpetersburg.psob
  • toc0.dcache
  • toc1.dache

Once the files are deleted, head into Battle.net’s options for Modern Warfare. Then launch “Scan and Repair”.
