There is no software update tied to the release of Google Assistant on the Galaxy Watch 4. Instead, your watch should automatically install a Google Assistant update without you having to do anything. that is. The easiest way to check if your watch has the app installed is to check your app list.
If you see Google Assistant, tap it to start the setup process. If you don’t see Google Assistant, search for it on the Play Store, click the button Install and select your watch from the list of available devices.

Once Google Assistant is installed, you’ll need to complete the setup process before you can start using it. Open the Assistant app on your watch, then tap To start up. You are then prompted to complete the setup process on the phone your watch is paired to.
