The first public beta of operating system for Mac was released earlier this week and now you can install it on your machine.

Like every year, Apple offers its users its public beta program for all those wishing to test its latest innovations in preview.

With macOS Ventura, Apple improves its system in small steps

The year 2022 is no exception to the rule and in addition to the recently available betas of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16, Apple has released the first test version of macOS Ventura, the next operating system for MacBooks, iMac and other Mac Minis which will be released in finalized version at the end of this year.

If at first glance the new features seem thin, macOS Ventura still offers several long-awaited improvements such as additional options in the Mail, Messages and Photos applications, collaborative work features or Stage Manager, a new multi-task system for working more efficiently with multiple applications.

We can also mention the possibility of using your iPhone as a webcam to replace the sensor built into your MacBook, all wirelessly.

Install macOS Ventura now with these few steps

Want to install the macOS Ventura beta on your machine? To do this, you will need to register on the portal reserved for the Apple public beta program. Once registered, simply click “Register Your Mac” to retrieve the macOS Public Beta Access Utility.

Once this step has been completed, you will then need to go to the System Preferences of your Mac, then click on the “Software Update” button. After a little research on Apple’s servers, you will be offered the upgrade to macOS Ventura. Just click on the button to start the download and then the installation of the system.

Be careful however, the paint is still fresh and Apple warns that many bugs can occur during your use as well as incompatibilities with some of your software. So consider backing up your data before installing or upgrading on a secondary machine.

If the system is too unstable for you, you still have the option of going back and reinstalling macOS Monterey by following the procedure indicated by Apple on its support sheets.
