How the pricing table works

Do you use several Google or Gmail accounts for your professional and personal activities? The good news is that you don’t have to juggle multiple terminals to check your messages and access your favorite apps. With an Android smartphone, it is possible to coordinate several Google or Gmail accounts within the same user profile. Here’s how.

This tutorial was made using a Pixel 6 with Android 13. Like all Google smartphones, this model, which is also excellent in photos, has the scoop on new versions of the mobile operating system. All the steps described below are valid for previous versions up to Android 11, the latest Pixel 6a and Pixel 6 Pro, and more generally all smartphones using a standard version of Android.

Add an additional Google account

From the home screen of your Android smartphone, swipe up from the bottom to open the app drawer, then tap the icon Settings. Scroll down the list to Passwords and Accounts then, at the bottom of the page, tap + Add account. Select Google then confirm your identity using the method you defined: PIN or fingerprint.

This is the time to enter the email address of the Google account you want to add, along with its password and the two-factor authentication code if you have activated this option, which we strongly recommend. If necessary, it is possible to create a new Google account from this page by pressing Create an account.
You can repeat this how-to to add other existing or new Google Accounts. Note that the creation of a Google account automatically leads to that of a Gmail account.

Manage Google Account synchronization

Once your Google account(s) have been added, you have the option to set data synchronization for each Google service. To do this, press Settings>Passwords and Accounts. Select the account you just added and press Account synchronization. On this page, you can customize how synchronization works for each Google service.
If you want to delete a Google account, return to the section Passwords and Accountsselect the account and press the button Delete account.

Use multiple Gmail accounts

Once a Google account is added, the corresponding Gmail address is automatically added to the mail service. To switch from one Gmail account to another, press your profile icon in the top right and then select the desired address.

If you want to customize the settings for the new account, go to the Settings from Gmail by tapping on the icon with three overlapping bars at the top left. Select the account to modify and you will then have access to all the available settings.
