Palworld is the game phenomenon of the moment. How to play it? On which platforms is it available? We tell you everything.
After a long weekend away from it all, you may have woken up to discover Palworld : the game is tearing up everything in its path, with high sales, attendance records and a Twitch platform that is taking on the colors of what we like to call “Pokémon with weapons”. The numbers are incredible and this survival game developed by Pocketpair has become a phenomenon in just a few days.
The success of Palworld is mainly documented on Steam, Valve’s platform. But it’s not only available on PC. How to play Palworld, which is currently only in early access (it will be regularly updated until a final version)? We will explain everything to you.
Where is Palworld available?
I have a PC
If it is very reminiscent of Pokémon, Palworld is not a Nintendo game. It created a buzz on PC, notably thanks to significant traffic on Steam. On the Valve platform, you can buy it for €29.99 (€26.09 until January 25).
But you can also play the PC version of Palworld thanks to Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft’s subscription. There is even streaming for those whose configuration is not powerful enough. Please note, this feature requires the Ultimate plan (the most expensive, at €14.99 per month).
Xbox Game Pass is available in three plans :
- Xbox Game Pass PC at €9.99;
- Xbox Game Pass Console at €10.99;
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at €14.99.

Palworld is also available on Xbox. As on PC, you have the choice:
I have a PlayStation console
Palworld is not available on PlayStation 5. In an FAQ published alongside the launch, Pocketpair announced: “ This is not planned at the moment, but we will consider it during development. »
I have a Nintendo console
Same story as for PlayStation, except that a Switch version is not even mentioned.
I have a tablet or smartphone
Palworld is not available on the App Store or Google Play Store. On the other hand, owners of an Android/iOS tablet or smartphone can play it streaming via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Note that this is an alternative for PlayStation or Nintendo enthusiasts.
