If RTS (real-time strategy games) are no longer very fashionable, the studio Frost Giant intends to surf on the nostalgia of the era Warcraft 3 And Starcraft 2
with Stormgate. The strategy game will offer, during the celebration of Steam Next Fest, a period of one week during which players will be able to access its Beta phase for free and freely. We present in broad terms Stormgate and how to test the game from February 5 to 12 on Steam.

Frost Giant Studios, Blizzard’s legacy

If Stormgate visually resembles Starcraft 2 so much, it’s because a large part of the Frost Giant team previously worked at Blizzard. In order to finance the development of its first game, Frost Giant Studios opened its capital via several fundraising rounds, attracting several major investors including Kakaogames and Riot Games. In addition, the studio has opted for crowdfunding with a campaign on Kickstarter having already exceeded the $2 million mark.
