How to make grilled Italian peppers?

Ingredients :

  • 1.5 kg of peppers
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Vinegar
  • Olive oil
  • Salt pepper

The preparation stages:

Step 1 : preheat the oven grill to 230 ° C.

2nd step : wash and dry the peppers, then place them on a baking sheet.

Step 3: bake for 20 minutes, turning them regularly.

Step 4: once the skin is well roasted, enclose the peppers in a plastic bag. Close and let cool completely.

Step 5: remove the stems, the peelings of the peppers and the seeds of the peppers, then chop them into strips.

Step 6: in a salad bowl, mix these strips with the cloves of peeled and chopped garlic, a drizzle of oil and vinegar. Let stand 1 hour before serving.

How to roast peppers in a pan?

Ingredients :

  • 4 red peppers
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoons capers in vinegar
  • breadcrumbs
  • olive oil
  • balsamic vinegar
  • salt

The preparation stages:

Step 1 : clean and halve the red peppers. Remove the tails, seeds and white skins and slice them into thin strips.

2nd step : peel and finely chop the garlic.

Step 3: heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan on high heat.

Step 4: when the olive oil is hot, place the chopped garlic in the pan and brown it for a few seconds, until it is colored.

Step 5: then add the pepper strips and capers to the pan. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and salt to taste. Mix.

Step 6: cover the pan and cook, still on high heat, for 7 minutes.

Step 7: reduce the heat to low and continue cooking for another 7 minutes.

Step 8: finish by pouring a drizzle of balsamic vinegar into the pan. Mix well.

Step 9: serve the peppers and the seared capers immediately on the plates.

How to grill peppers on the barbecue?

Ingredients :

  • 2 yellow peppers
  • 2 red peppers
  • garlic
  • thyme
  • laurel
  • salt pepper

The preparation stages:

Step 1 : wash the peppers and open them with a knife following the lines of the vegetable. Remove all the seeds and the white parts.

2nd step : cut the peppers into large cubes, then arrange them in a bowl.

Step 3: mash the garlic with the palm of your hand.

Step 4: thin the thyme and break the bay leaves.

Step 5: mix everything with the peppers, then sprinkle with olive oil, salt and pepper. Leave to marinate for 15 minutes.

Step 6: arrange the cubes flat on the barbecue grill and let them cook for 10 minutes, turning them from time to time. Eat hot or cold.

The recipe for grilled peppers with garlic

Ingredients :

  • 4 peppers
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • extra virgin olive oil

The preparation stages:

Step 1 : wash the peppers and open them with a knife following the lines of the vegetable. Remove all the seeds and the white parts.

2nd step : grill them, in the oven or on the barbecue.

Step 3: when roasted on all sides, put them in a plastic freezer bag and close it. The peppers will be much easier to peel.

Step 4: let them cool and peel them.

Step 5: then cut them into strips, and place them in a dish.

Step 6: peel and cut the garlic cloves into thin slices after removing the central germ.

Step 7: put them on the grilled peppers.

Step 8: cover with olive oil, salt, pepper and serve.

The recipe for the grilled pepper salad

Ingredients :

  • 2 yellow peppers
  • 2 red peppers
  • 2 green peppers
  • 4 new garlic cloves
  • 6 sprigs of basil
  • 1 dl fruity olive oil
  • salt

The preparation stages:

Step 1 : wash all the peppers, then pat them dry.

2nd step : grill them in the oven or on a barbecue, on all sides, until their skin turns brown. Cooking takes approximately 30 minutes.

Step 3: when they are well cooked, put them in a casserole dish, cover them and let them cool for 15 minutes.

Step 4: peel them, the skin will come off very easily.

Step 5: open the peppers in half. Reserve the juice they contain. Discard the white peduncle, seeds and filaments. Cut each half of the pepper, lengthwise, into 1.5 cm wide ribbons and put them in the bowl.

Step 6: peel the garlic cloves and cut them into thin strips.

Step 7: add them to the peppers with the oil and a little salt. Mix.

Step 8: sprinkle with basil leaves and let macerate for at least 4 hours in the refrigerator before serving.
