Puzzle game on the theme of mourning published by ARTE, How to Say Goodbye will be available from November 3, 2022. Developed by Florian Veltman (Monument Valley 2) and Baptiste Portefaix (Oniri Islands), the title will be playable on PC via Steam, as well as only on Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android.
In How to Say Goodbye, players will be able to track a character moments after they die. The story therefore begins with his arrival in an unknown world existing after life, and tells us of his journey through it. The role of the players here will be to help the ghost come to terms with his death and cross over to the other side. The journey towards this acceptance will be punctuated by encounters with other spirits, more or less benevolent. Some companions encountered will also be able to help the ghost to accept their disappearance and finally leave this limbo which imprisons it.
To advance in the adventure, the players will have to interact with the environment, in particular by moving the elements of the decor on a grid. The goal is of course to make your way to the exit, which will be symbolized by a door. But be careful, because lost spirits will try to make the protagonist lose his way and many obstacles will stand in his way.
