A poetic and touching title speaking of mourning

For those who have never heard of this title, this one aims to approach the subject of mourning in a poetic and touching way. “inspired by the visual codes of children’s literature” (Tomi Ungerer, Tove Jansson, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Maurice Sendak…). We will follow the story of a character who has just died and who must learn to accept his fate by traveling in an unknown world populated by more or less benevolent spirits and ghosts.

According to Florian Veltman, “a universal experience but specific to each individual, mourning arouses strong emotions. However, in most video games, it is reduced to a violent act: death serves as a metaphor to indicate to the player in an extremely binary way that he loses or that he wins, that he exists or no longer exists. We wanted to approach the subject in a more subtle and positive way, with delicacy. »
