What is the Watch Party feature?
Watch = watch. Party = party. This feature, available on several streaming platforms including Netflix, allows you to watch the same program as your family or friends simultaneously and remotely.
Are you impatiently awaiting the new season of LOL or the latest Guy Ritchie film and want to enjoy it with loved ones even from a distance? It’s possible. You will be able to exchange live thanks to the Watch Party chat and not be spoiled by a brother, a sister or a friend.
Namely, to get the most out of Watch Party:
- All participants must be Amazon Prime members or have purchased the video.
- Each person controls their own audio and subtitle settings. Anyone can control the player unless you disable the option.
How to do :
Step 1: Choose the program you want and click on the Watch Party logo

Two options are available to you: you directly send a URL link or you suggest they use the QR Code.

The film is finally launched. You can see who is watching with you at any time in the “Settings” tab. You can deactivate the control, to prevent your best friend from pausing every 5 minutes. In the “Chat” tab, you can chat live with your loved ones. Super practical!
