HPI: Hollywood will adapt the series with Audrey Fleurot!

Faced with the success of the first two seasons, an American production company has just acquired the rights to adapt “HPI”, the TF1 event series carried by Audrey Fleurot and Mehdi Nebbou.

Morgane Alvaro is about to land in the United States! Newen, the production company for the TF1 series, has just announced via a press release that an American version of HPI will soon see the light of day.

The rights to adapt the fiction worn by Audrey Fleurot have indeed been sold to ABC Signature, a production and distribution company of the Walt Disney group. Also according to the press release, the work of adapting the scripts has already begun. The showrunner, writing team and cast have yet to be announced.

HPI is an incredible international adventure and the subject of its exploitation in the United States very quickly arose”, explained Rodolphe Buet, CEO of Newen Connect. “The enthusiasm of the ABC Signature teams and their discussions with the producers convinced us that they could give the series additional influence and allow an original TF1 creation to carry the colors of French production and its talents high..”

After the audience success of the first season, particularly in Italy, Spain, Germany, 100 territories sold, and this American partnership, HPI is one of the major series of the current audiovisual landscape and of the coming years!

For Newen, this American adaptation is a new step in the evolution of the series produced by Septembre Productions (Mediawan) and Route Productions (UGC). To date, HPI has been sold in over 105 territories internationally and garnered over 175 million views worldwide.

This American version will also not be the first iteration of the detective series to see the light of day since Czech and Slovak versions have already been shot and should be launched soon.

A real audience hit in France, where season 2 brought together an average of 8.14 million faithful, or 40.0% of the public and 47.7% of the FRDA-50, this American remake announcement is therefore not a big surprise.

It now remains to be seen in which city the plot will be transposed, which, we recall, takes place in Lille in the original series, and above all which stars of American television will take over the roles played by Audrey Fleurot and Mehdi Nebbou.

For latecomers, HPI Seasons 1 and 2 are available in full on the Salto platform. Season 1 is also available on Disney+.
