HPI on TF1: Audrey Fleurot reveals the first information on season 3

While season 3 of “HPI” is currently filming, Audrey Fleurot, who plays the character of Morgane Alvaro, revealed some information on this new burst of episodes eagerly awaited by fans.

Launched with great fanfare in April 2021 on TF1, HPI very quickly found its audience, becoming that year the most watched series on French television since 2006. A record for the detective series led by Audrey Feurot and Mehdi Nebbou which was confirmed during the broadcast of season 2 last June.

It is therefore no surprise that TF1 has ordered a third round of episodes, the filming of which takes place in the Hauts de France until next May.

And if the fans of the series hoped to see Morgane and Karadec become a couple after their passionate kiss at the end of season 2, they may be disappointed since things will always be so complicated between them in season 3.

In an interview with our colleagues from Diverto magazine, Audrey Fleurot revealed that a 6-month ellipse was going to take place at the start of this third season. “Morgane is going to experience a good depression: Karadec has not followed up, she has left her position as a consultant and is trying to rebuild her life,” she explained.

And it is necessary to believe that the budding investigator is not at the end of her sentences since she will go through the prison box. “She is again a cleaning lady, is regularly fired, and finds herself, by a combination of circumstances, in prison.

And for the actress, this step back is very important for the character of Morgane who must remain anchored “in a precarious financial situation because she still represents the single mother who is struggling to make ends meet“, and that she doesn’t want Morgane “become yet another flick.”

One thing is certain, Morgane Alvaro should, one way or another, return to lend a hand to her former colleagues to solve an avalanche of crimes as complex as they are mysterious, ranging from the death of a music star becoming an investigation in prison, an ashram, and even a vampire in a medical school.

Audrey Fleurot took advantage of her interview with Diverto to reveal that she was already thinking of the end of the detective series. “Even if I’m very addicted to this character, I don’t want to do the season too much. I’m very afraid of a disappointing ending, as is often the case in the series we love.

Will HPI’s fate resemble that of Balthazar, another successful TF1 series, which will soon bow out after 5 seasons on the air? Only the future will tell us…

For latecomers who haven’t seen HPI yet, seasons 1 and 2 are available in full on the Salto platform.
