In episode 4 of season 3 of “HPI”, Morgane Alvaro and Adam Karadec lead the investigation in an ashram frequented by the victim. But by the way, what is an ashram?
It has now been almost a month since Audrey Fleurot made her big comeback on TF1 during the broadcast of season 3 of HPI.
In this new burst of episode, Morgane Alvaro, who had decided to distance herself from the DIPJ of Lille, once again teams up with Karadec (Mehdi Nebbou) to investigate cases all crazier than each other. Like episode 4, broadcast this Thursday, May 31 from 9:10 p.m. on TF1.
Entitled “Benford’s Law”, this new opus takes place the day after the events that occurred at the end of episode 3. Barely awake from her night with Timothée (Jeremy Lewin), Morgane is called to a crime scene.
A certain Yvan Desfard was found dead on the side of a road. Their investigation will take a new turn when the team discovers that the victim belonged to a community of hermits living in an ashram. But who could have blamed the victim? Karadec will have to disentangle the true from the false with the help of Morgane.
What is an ashram?
At the time of his death, it had been six months since Yvan Desfard, the victim of episode 4 of season 3 of HPI, had joined an ashram. An important element for the two investigators, who think that his desire to reach this lost place in the middle of nowhere is probably linked to his death.
But by the way, what is an ashram? According to the definition of Larousse, an ashram is a hermitage intended for spiritual exercises in which the guru lives with his disciples. It is often found in isolated places, in the forest or in the mountains.
The sage and his disciples, most often from the Hindu religion, seek union with God in solitude and inner peace, far from the distractions and agitations of the world. Ashrams are places that are open and accessible to everyone.
People of all ages and religions can come and visit an ashram and decide to stay there as long as they wish. An ashram is therefore not a sectarian movement, even if there can sometimes be excesses.
