Season 3 of HPI ended on June 29 on TF1 with an unexpected cliffhanger which will once again turn Morgan Alvaro’s life upside down. While waiting for the arrival of season 4 next spring, find out everything you need to know about this new burst of episodes.
Date: when will season 4 of HPI be broadcast?
TF1 has not yet communicated a broadcast date for season 4 of HPI. But if we refer to previous years, seasons 1, 2 and 3 having been offered respectively on April 29, 2021, May 12, 2022 and May 11, 2023, this new burst of episodes should be broadcast from second half of May 2024.
Filming: when will season 4 be filmed? Where will it be filmed
As with season 3, the first two episodes of season 4 of HPI were filmed in August 2023 in the north of France. Filming for the following six episodes should take place in early 2024.
Plot: what will season 4 be about?
For the moment, TF1 has not revealed the official synopsis of season 4 of HPI. The producer of the series, Pierre Laugier, however revealed that the new episodes will be explosive.
“This cliffhanger is so gripping. He reshuffles all the cards and provides material for season 4, the writing of which is already well advanced”, he confided in an interview with TF1 Info last July.
The pregnancy of Morgane (Audrey Fleurot) will obviously change everything for Karadec (Medhi Nebbou), who is potentially the father. If he tries to distance himself from the consultant following her betrayal at the end of season 3, learning that she is pregnant will be a real shock for him.
For her part, Morgane will see her life turned upside down by this news. The consultant will “continue to go through a series of difficulties while experiencing a slightly late pregnancy and still in this precariousness which characterizes it.”
The main issue of this season 4 will of course be the paternity of Morgane’s baby. “Who is the father of her future child? This is going to be the big investigation of season 4. This time, we are not looking for a murderer, but a progenitor!”, added the producer.
Casting: which actors will be present in the new season?
Audrey Fleurot, Mehdi Nebbou, Bruno Sanches, Marie Denarnaud and Bérangère McNeese will of course be back for season 4 of HPI. For the moment, we do not know if Patrick Chesnais, who plays Morgane’s father, will also be present.
Who is the father of Morgane’s baby?
This is THE big question of season 4 of HPI: who, Timothée (Jeremy Lewin), David (Doudou Masta) or Karadec (Mehdi Nebbou) is the father of Morgane’s baby? During an interview with AlloCiné, Audrey Fleurot confided that the screenwriters had not yet made their decision as to the identity of the father. “There are several interesting options. It’s up to us to see which one is the most”, she explained to our microphone. The suspense therefore still remains.
Will season 4 be the last?
If the success of HPI continues, even after 3 years on the air, the actors are already starting to think about the end of the series, which could well arrive sooner than we think.
Although Audrey Fleurot is not yet ready to hang up Morgane Alvaro’s colorful and crazy outfits, she is afraid to do so.the season too many”. As for Mehdi Nebbou, he confided during an interview that he had said to himself that “five years wouldn’t be bad”. Season 4 will therefore not be the last for HPI.
