HPI: we saw the first episodes of season 3 at Series Mania… and it’s explosive!

Before its arrival on TF1, season 3 of “HPI” was presented today in preview at Series Mania. And the first two episodes are, unsurprisingly, a real treat. With a Morgane (Audrey Fleurot) who hasn’t finished surprising us.

Expected in the coming weeks on TF1, season 3 of HPI, still led by Audrey Fleurot in the role of the tornado Morgane Alvaro, created the event this Saturday March 18 in Lille. The public of the Series Mania festival, which opened yesterday with Salade Grecque by Cédric Klapisch, having been able to preview the first two episodes of this unprecedented third batch.

In the last minutes of season 2, proposed in the spring of 2022, Morgane finally learned the truth about the disappearance of Romain, her first love and the father of Théa, of whom she had not heard from for almost twenty years and that she thought she was dead.

In reality, Romain had gone to rebuild his life in England, where he still resides today and has become a father. A shock for Morgane who, all turned upside down by her reunion with her ex, ended up exchanging a long-awaited first kiss with Karadec (Mehdi Nebbou). The only one capable of supporting her and loving her?

Unfortunately, without revealing too much, we can already say that the fans who hoped to see the two heroes of HPI as a couple in season 3 will be disappointed since, when the first episode, entitled “Radial Symmetry”, begins, Morgane left the police force to become a cleaning lady again and no longer speak to Adam Karadec.

What happened between them after their kiss? Fans will obviously have the answer during the first episodes which reserve a lot of surprises for the faithful of the series. Including the return of a character seen during an episode of season 2.

PRODUCTIONS ITINERARY / SEPTEMBER PRODUCTION / TF1

Overall, this start to the season, which opens energetically with 50 Cent’s “In da Club”, is in line with what the screenwriters proposed during the first two bursts of episodes. Namely punchlines and improbable looks made in Morgane (roller earrings, we love). Investigations where the spirit of the heroine goes at a thousand miles an hour. And moments of comedy always so tasty.

Seeing Morgane be overtaken by her desire to investigate, even very far from the police station, is a real treat. And creator Alice Chegaray-Breugnot and screenwriter Julien Anscutter, who co-signed the first two episodes, once again offer us some pretty finds that allow the series to never rest on its laurels. Like the end of episode 1, which sees Morgane’s life completely turned upside down, or episode 2, which plunges the heroine into a rather unexpected and explosive setting.

So, is Morgane Alvaro done with the police for good? Or will she end up finding Karadec, Gilles (Bruno Sanches), Céline (Marie Denarnaud) and Daphné (Bérangère McNeese) within the police station? As for the story between the two heroes, will it finally materialize one day? Answer in the HPI suite very soon on TF1.
