Almost a year to the day after the broadcast of the last episode of season 1, HPI will finally make its big comeback on TF1 for its season 2. The front page has just announced that it will broadcast the new burst of episodes of the detective series worn by Audrey Fleurot from Thursday May 12 from 9:10 p.m.
Launched with great fanfare on April 29, 2021, HPI immediately created a surprise by achieving audience records that had not been seen on the channel since the broadcast of Dolmen in 2005.
The detective series had indeed managed to gather more than 10 million viewers every Thursday evening, peaking at 12.4 million during the broadcast of episode 3. Extraordinary figures in an era where people are increasingly abandoning more linear television in favor of streaming platforms.
It is therefore no surprise that in full broadcast, TF1 had announced that HPI would be entitled to a season 2, presented in preview at the Series Mania Festival which took place last March in Lille, which arrives this month. of May on the channel.
And for this new burst of episodes, Morgane Alvaro, the heroine with high intellectual potential, resumes service as a consultant for the police under the direction of Commander Karadec (played by Mehdi Nebbou).
Commander Karadec is indeed the subject of an IGPN procedure, in order to shed light on the incidents that occurred during season 1… Roxane Ascher, an obstinate and bewitching investigator, is responsible for evaluating the contribution – and the ravages – of Morgana in the police. If she seems to have found a balance in her life thanks to her new job and the return of her ex-husband to the home, her volcanic temper should very quickly create new problems for her.
