(CercleFinance.com) – HSBC Continental Europe (HBCE), a subsidiary of HSBC Holdings, announces that it has completed, on January 1, 2024, the sale of its retail banking activities in France to CCF, a subsidiary of Promontoria MMB SAS (My Money Group ).
The operation also providing for the sale by HBCE of its 100% stake in HSBC SFH (France), the latter is now entirely owned by CCF and has changed its company name to CCF SFH as of January 1.
The completion of this operation, which follows the announcements of June 18, 2021 and June 14, ‘marks a key step in the transformation of HBCE and will allow the bank to focus on its international banking model’, according to the group British.
