Huawei has just taken an important step on the side of its connected devices. Indeed, the Chinese brand will launch its smart glasses. And as much to say that these Vision Glass seem rather promising.

This launch is also an opportunity to discover the technical characteristics of this accessory.

A beautiful object

Announced last November, the Huawei Vision Glass can now be purchased in China. At that not so distant time, the manufacturer presented its mount as a peripheral connected to any device (smartphone, tablet, PC) via a USB-C cable. The goal is to serve as an extension to allow the user to watch videos or work in the best possible conditions.

For this, the Huawei Vision Glass are equipped with two Micro OLED screens of 0.49 inches each. The definition obtained reaches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) and each panel opts for a refresh rate of 60 Hz. To finish with the technical specificities, the luminance climbs to 480 cd / m² and 90% of the colorimetric space DCI-P3 is covered.

A (big) asset!

But what really changes the game with these glasses is their ability to generate a single 120-inch virtual panel. A giant screen that should fully immerse the user in their favorite films and series. All in relatively optimal comfort since the Vision Glass weigh only 112 grams for 21 mm thick.

On paper, we can say that it really makes you want. Unfortunately, Huawei hasn’t said anything about a global release so far. Only the Chinese market will be able to benefit from it from December 26th. The starting price will be around 430 dollars (about 403 euros).
