This morning, Huawei uploaded a teaser poster regarding its upcoming folding smartphone.
It will be the Mate Xs 2, successor to the Mate Xs, itself an improved version of the Mate X.
The Huawei Mate Xs 2 will unfold on April 28
While Samsung seems determined to dominate the folding smartphone market with its Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip, Huawei will present its new model in a few days: the Mate Xs 2. Remember that the Chinese group distinguished itself at Mobile World Congress 2019 with its Mate X.
The following year, Huawei launched the Mate Xs, an improved version of its foldable screen smartphone. On April 28, the Chinese brand will present the Mate Xs 2. It is difficult to know, however, whether the latter will take up the philosophy of its predecessors, or adopt the look of the Huawei Mate X2, the brand’s other folding smartphone (formalized in beginning of last year), with the same structure as a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold.
A new Huawei Mate Xs 2 which would be powered by Harmony OS and a Kirin 9000 chip. It remains to know the look of this new folding smartphone to come, but also its selling price, knowing that the current Mate Xs is displayed at the price from… 2,499 euros.
