Before them, a certain Huawei had already placed his pawns, and this from 2019 with the famous Huawei Mate X, big star of the MWC 2019.

With its outward-facing folding system, this device stood out from the first Galaxy Z Fold of the name. In 2020, the Chinese brand continued its offensive through the Mate Xs, which took up the philosophy of its predecessor, but with a reinforced hinge and a better screen.
