Huawei’s Mate smartphone family is expanding with an announcement: the Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design. If the previous model in the range had been designed in collaboration with Porsche Design, this newborn marks the end of this emblematic partnership.

The Ultimate Design range seems to be the Chinese giant’s new showcase for its premium editions. With the Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design as the standard bearer of this new direction.

A luxury Mate 60 Pro+

In terms of performance and features, the Mate 60 RS Ultimate Edition is not radically different from the Mate 60 Pro+. It sports a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED display, powered by the 5G-enabled Kirin 9000s chipset. On the photo side, it promises to impress with its 48 megapixel, 48 megapixel and 40 megapixel sensors. Plus, with a 5,000 mAh battery, battery life shouldn’t be an issue.

However, where the Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design really stands out is in its aesthetics. Exit the familiar design, this smartphone stands out with a ceramic back and an octagon-shaped camera island. Two two-tone finishes are available: red or black.

A luxury experience

Buying the Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design is not only a technical choice, Huawei also wants it to be an experience. Huawei rewards owners of this model with a series of exclusive one-year privileges, subject to requesting a Huawei card. Lucky holders will benefit from access to lounges at airports and train stations, insurance in the event of flight delays, legal advice and even… horse riding and tennis lessons!

Additionally, for those who want to protect their investment in style, Huawei offers exclusive protective cases Star Diamond in black and red, which wrap both the front and back of the Mate 60 RS Ultimate. In short, another world.

Planned in China, and only on the Chinese market for the moment, this Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design will be sold from 1,550 euros, at the current conversion rate, up to around 1,700 euros.
