Huawei returns with two connected watches available from May 18 for pre-order. The very complete Huawei Watch GT3 Pro and the discreet, but no less efficient Huawei Watch Fit 2. Two products designed for athletes.
Announced last April, the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro presents itself as an ultra high-end connected watch. Now available for pre-order, its release is accompanied by the Huawei Watch Fit 2. These two connected watches are designed for athletes, they have an elegant design and some really original features, mainly designed for athletes.
Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro: the most premium sports model
For this new premium watch, Huawei has gone all out in terms of both substance and form. Question design, first of all, the manufacturer has chosen to offer only two models: the first offers a matt gray titanium case of the most beautiful effect available in 46 mm and the second is seen equipped with a white ceramic case, very high-end and available in 43 mm.
On the display side, if the two watches benefit from an AMOLED screen, the Titanium version benefits from a 1.43 inch screen against 1.32 inch for the Ceramic version.
For the rest, the two watches have a lot in common. They are equipped with sensors traditionally implemented on connected watches such as the accelerometer, the gyroscope or the heart rate measurement sensor. They also benefit, a small particularity that deserves to be underlined, from a program for monitoring the menstrual cycle.
They are also both perfectly suited for water sports with an IP 68 certification and 5ATM water resistance. You will be able to submerge your watch up to 30 meters without any problem. Small specificity specific to this new version: the presence of a dive mode which offers real-time monitoring of data, in particular depth, time spent underwater… the watch also offers an apnea training program to improve your underwater breathing skills.
And for those who prefer the bare ground, Huawei has thought of you by integrating a listing of no less than 300 golf course maps, as well as a native application to acquire a swing worthy of the pros.
On the autonomy side, on the other hand, there is a small difference:
- The titanium version can last up to 14 days on a single charge
- The Ceramic version can last up to 7 days on a single charge
The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro will be available from 369.99 euros for the Titanium version and 449.99 euros for the Ceramic version from May 18, when pre-orders open.
Huawei Watch Fit 2: light and sporty
Succeeding the first generation Huawei Watch Fit, the Huawei Watch Fit 2 returns with a design faithful to what made the success of its big sister. With one small difference: its screen goes from 1.64 inches to 1.74 inches.
For the rest, this Watch Fit 2 relies on a format that has made it successful. A rectangular dial with rounded edges, all in finesse and a featherweight of barely 26 grams. Customizable, Huawei offers this new version, a plethora of bracelets from the most sporty to the most elegant.
On the performance side, with its 292 mAh battery ensuring up to 7 days of autonomy, you will have enough to explore the hundred sports activities preinstalled on this Watch Fit 2. Offering 5ATM water resistance, you can also go in a swimming session without any worries, or even while diving since the Huawei Watch Fit 2 can go down to 30 meters without any worries.
On the sensor side, there is everything a good connected watch needs: good sleep monitoring, an SpO2 sensor, a heart rate sensor, one for blood pressure and a menstrual cycle monitoring system.
The Huawei Watch Fit 2 is available now for pre-order at a price of 149 euros. It comes with a Huawei Scale 3 connected scale until June 18.
