Although they were the center of attention, the Watch GT 3 Pro were not the only connected watches presented by Huawei during its Milan event. The Watch Fit 2 was also part of the party with a large rectangular AMOLED screen.

Huawei’s rectangular watch is back. Two years after the release of the first version, here is the Watch Fit 2 with a larger screen and call management via Bluetooth.
The Watch Fit 2 therefore retains the design of the Watch Fit with a glass flush with an aluminum bezel with rounded edges. The case nevertheless remains plastic and widens by 3.5 mm, becoming a little more square (46 x 33.5 mm), which reinforces its resemblance to the Apple Watch. Its thickness hardly changes (+0.1 mm to 10.8 mm) and the Watch Fit 2 remains quite light with 26 g without a strap, i.e. 5 g more than the first Watch Fit of the name.

This slightly larger volume, however, benefits the display area, since the AMOLED screen gains 0.1 inch to reach 1.74 inch, and occupies a larger proportion of the front (72.2% against 70% for the Watch). Fit). Its definition also increases, going from 280 x 456 px (326 dpi) to 336 x 480 px (336 dpi).
In terms of features, we find health, sleep and stress monitoring thanks to SpO2 and cardio-optical sensors. The latter also uses Huawei’s TruSeen 5.0 heart rate measurement technology, giving hope for better accuracy compared to the TruSeen 4.0 of the first Watch Fit – it had disappointed us somewhat in the context of split sports activities.
As for activities, the Watch Fit 2 supports 97 training modes, as well as voice-guided fitness and stretching animations for seven of them. The integrated geolocation chip (GPS, Beidou, Glonass, Galileo, QZSS), linked to a route import and export function, ensures autonomous operation of the Watch Fit 2 for outdoor activities.
The main novelty lies in the management of telephone calls via Bluetooth, the Watch Fit 2 integrating a microphone and a speaker for this purpose.
These new features come at a cost, because the Watch Fit 2 is priced at €150 in the Active version (elastomer strap), or €20 more than the first Watch Fit when it was launched.

The watch is also available in a Classic version with a leather strap, sold for €200, as well as in an Elegant version at €250 with a metal strap. Different colors are available.
