Huawei Watch Fit 2: towards an enlarged screen… at the same time as the price

Huawei is preparing to launch a new version of its Watch Fit 2. The Chinese brand dedicated to sports activities would have a slightly larger screen this year, but would also cost around twenty euros more.

A little less than two years after marketing a first model that we rather liked, Huawei is about to launch a new Watch Fit connected watch. Expected soon, this Huawei Watch Fit 2 would take up the same concept as its predecessor, offering a rectangular dial, generous autonomy and features mainly focused on physical activity… all at an affordable price. This year, Huawei would however bet on a slightly larger screen, coupled with a battery necessarily a little larger too.

According to information from WinFuture, these few changes would, on the other hand, push Huawei to aim for a starting price of 150 euros for this new tocante – or around twenty euros more than the first Huawei Watch Fit of the name.

20 euros more for a slightly improved watch

In detail, the German site estimates that the screen would pass on a diagonal of 1.74 inches, while enjoying a definition of 336 x 480 pixels. Thanks to its slightly beefier battery (292 mAh), the watch could offer up to 10 days of autonomy, more or less what the Watch Fit 1 allowed. On the OS side, Huawei would rely on Harmony OS 2.0, boosted for the occasion by a multitude of functionalities, advances WinFuture.

Obviously, physical activity and sports are always in the line of sight. The watch would thus be suitable for around a hundred different sports, would again keep an eye on your heart rate and the number of steps, but also on the quality of your sleep and your stress level. Another important data for a watch intended primarily for sport: blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) would also be taken into account.

The Huawei Watch Fit 2 would have Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and a GPS receiver for the rest. It would finally benefit from 5ATM water resistance and could be available, like the Watch GT3 Pro, in versions “Active”, “Classic” and “Elite”with plastic, leather or metal bracelets, respectively.
