A more upscale version of the Watch GT 3, the Watch GT 3 Pro is placed at the top of the 3 series of Huawei watches. On the menu, titanium, ceramic, reinforced sealing and even an electrocardiogram.
Already rich with three references (Watch 3, Watch 3 Pro, Watch GT 3), the series 3 of Huawei watches welcomes a new representative: the Watch GT 3 Pro. Replacing the GT 2 Pro, it brings an additional dose of luxury to the Watch GT 3 and is enriched at the same time with specific characteristics.
Titanium or ceramic depending on watch size
First of all, in terms of design, Huawei opts for noble materials: titanium for the 46.6 mm version (46.6 x 46.6 x 10.9 mm), nanocrystalline ceramic and golden steel bezel for the 42 .9mm (42.9 x 42.9 x 10.5mm). The case of the first weighs 54 g and comes with Viton leather or fluoro rubber straps, while you can opt for leather or ceramic for the second whose case weighs 4 g less.

Behind a sapphire crystal, the Watch GT 3 Pro Titanium houses a 1.43″ Amoled screen, while the GT 3 Pro Ceramic is content with a 1.32″ screen due to its more compact case. The latter must also be satisfied with an autonomy of up to 7 days, half as much as the Titanium version and its larger battery.
The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro is of course full of sensors of all kinds: accelerometer, gyroscopic sensors, compass, optical heart rate sensor, barometer, GPS, temperature sensor and SpO2 sensor. Sensors used to monitor health, sleep and stress, but also for the more than 100 sports modes integrated.
Sports modes including golf and diving
Question sport precisely, among the more than 100 integrated sports modes, Huawei highlights the golf course mode of its GT 3 Pro, including hundreds of courses (more than 300 in China). The watch is able to display the maps of the land and indicate the speed and direction of the wind, but also to analyze the shots and provide posture advice. Of course, it records the various shots made during the course and makes a technical analysis once it is finished.
Thanks to reinforced waterproofing (IP68 and 5 ATM), the Watch GT 3 Pro is also intended for swimming, Huawei even stating that its watch complies with the EN13319 diving standard and supports snorkeling to a depth of 30m. A specific diving mode is also integrated, displaying on the watch the depth reached, the ascent, the speed and the duration of the dive, without forgetting safety reminders so as not to forget to go up in time. It also allows you to practice apnea. Despite this improved water resistance, the manufacturer does not recommend using the watch in hot springs, hammams, platform diving and other activities where the water pressure can be high.
Full of health functions with ECG analysis
On the health side, the biggest novelty lies in the possibility of carrying out electrocardiograms (ECG) with the GT 3 Pro, thanks to electrodes arranged on the sides of the watch. Huawei also highlights its TruSeen 5.0+ heart rate monitoring technology based on the 8 photoelectric sensors on the back of the watch. There is also sleep monitoring (TruSleep 2.0) and stress (TruRelax).
Prices commensurate with the services
With such finishes and so many sensors and functions, we did not expect a cheap watch. The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro is indeed displayed at no less than 2,488 yuan (€355 excluding tax) in the titanium version and 2,988 yuan in the ceramic version (€427 excluding tax). A clearly high-end positioning, even more so than the Watch GT 2 Pro that Huawei launched in France in September 2020 at €299.99. We will have to wait a little longer before knowing the availability in France and the prices in euros of this Watch GT 3 Pro which will have to offer irreproachable services to face its competitors in this price segment.
