For a few weeks already, the rumor has been circulating on the networks that Huawei will finally give a successor to the P50 and especially to the Huawei P50 Pro, the standard meter of smartphone photography. It is rumored that the launch of the Huawei P60 range would be confirmed for March 2023.

The Chinese manufacturer has further improved the strengths of its devices. It will equip them with even better optimized sensors, cameras and software. The 120 Hz refreshed OLED display will measure 6.6 inches diagonally for a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. It will integrate a 32 MP selfie camera.

The Huawei P60 and Huawei P60 Pro will offer even better photo performance

On the back of the Huawei P60, we will find a 52 MP IMX789 main sensor, a 50 MP IMX858 wide-angle and a 16 MP telephoto lens. The Pro model will benefit from even better specifications. His main sensor will be the Sony IMX888 of 50 MP. The wide-angle will be identical to the “basic” P60, while the telephoto lens will have a 64 MP OmniVision OV64B sensor. Potential customers will be happy to know that Huawei will implement its XMAGE image processing technology on the entire P60 range. The processor chosen for the Huawei P60 will be a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1.

The battery life will be 5500mAh with 50W wireless charging, and 100 W per cable. The shortage of components has not spared Huawei, which is why the Huawei P60 and P60 Pro should only be offered in 4G version. Just like the Huawei Mate 50, they should support satellite communication, but it is uncertain whether this feature will be available outside the Middle Kingdom. This would require the company to enter into a partnership with a satellite phone company other than Beidou (which only operates for Chinese customers). If the rumor is true, the two devices should be released during the month of March. No information is yet available as to their availability on the Old Continent.
