The Union wants the federal government to agree to the delivery of Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine. That’s why she submitted a corresponding application to the Bundestag. Scholz expressed distrust in Ukraine when dealing with the Taurus weapons. “In this respect, it is already serving Putin’s narrative when he says that Ukraine is not reliable.” In addition, Scholz said the untruth. Contrary to what was claimed, no soldiers are needed in Ukraine to operate the Taurus cruise missiles.
Huber does not believe that the CDU/CSU parties will get through with their proposal. However, he hopes that all those who support the Taurus delivery will agree. “Then there must be a lot of people from the traffic light coalition who vote with us.”
Criticism of the Pope
Huber also criticizes Pope Francis’ statements. In an interview with a Swiss television station, he called on Ukraine to have the courage to raise the white flag. “In this case, I would say that the dogma of infallibility obviously does not exist,” says Huber. It is clear that Ukraine has been attacked. Russia is waging a brutal war of aggression, which is why it is the task to support Ukraine with arms deliveries. Our democracy and our freedom are being defended in Ukraine, says Huber. “In this respect, these statements by Pope Francis are absolutely incomprehensible to me.”
