Randal Kolo Muani is pushing for a transfer. The France international wants to go to Paris Saint-Germain with all his might. At Eintracht Frankfurt, a verbal advance is not well received. Whether the 24-year-old will play against Levski Sofia on Thursday is not yet foreseeable.
Striker Randal Kolo Muani from Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt is pushing his move to French soccer champions Paris Saint-Germain. “A move to Paris is now a unique opportunity for me. I would like to move to Paris and I have also informed those responsible,” said the French international to the TV channel Sky and at the same time asked for his approval for a transfer: “I hope and I hope that Frankfurt will agree to the offer from Paris and that this change will now be made possible for me.”
According to a Sky report, Frankfurt had just rejected an offer from PSG for 80 million euros for Kolo Muani. The 24-year-old himself is said to have agreed on a five-year contract with Paris weeks ago. The summer transfer window ends this Friday. Kolo Muani’s contract with Eintracht runs until June 30, 2027. According to reports, Frankfurt wants to achieve a transfer fee of at least 100 million euros with the vice world champion.
“I owe a lot to Eintracht Frankfurt. I took the fans to my heart and always behaved very professionally,” said Kolo Muani on Sky: “I always gave everything for the club until the end, but it’s no secret that Paris Saint-Germain made a record offer for me.”
According to reports from the “Bild” newspaper and from Sport1, the attacker’s statements should not go down well with the Eintracht bosses. It has been speculated that the interview was not authorized by the club. There was no confirmation of this at first. Coach Dino Toppmöller is reportedly planning to continue with Kolo Muani for Thursday’s play-off second leg in the Conference League against Levski Sofia, it was said. The club therefore does not want to be put under pressure.
