Humankind unveils its expansion Together We Rule


Released just over a year ago, the turn-based strategy game Humankind presents its first major expansion, Together We Rule. Scheduled for fall 2022, it should focus on everything that revolves around diplomacy, and at the same time adds new ways to be able to win a game.

The stated goal here is clear, to ensure that military dominance is no longer the primary way to win. To this end, new features will appear, such as the Congress of Humanity, which will allow both to vote on global doctrines and to arbitrate international conflicts.

The new embassy district will also make its arrival. It will allow you, among other things, to establish agreements with other factions or to use your currency of influence to force decisions to your advantage.

And to increase your diplomatic influence, you will have new units called Agents. Their role will be as much to influence the different peoples encountered during their exploration of the map as to infiltrate your enemies. It will then be possible to sabotage or misinform the other empires.

Six new cultures are entering Humankind and they will all have diplomatic affinity. Which means they will have a more active role in global diplomacy. It will therefore be possible to play Sumerians, Han Chinese, Bulgarians, Swiss, Scottish and Singaporeans. Namely that their passive ability will allow all their units to increase the level of influence, while their active ability will give the possibility of demilitarizing a territory for 10 turns.

Unrelated to diplomacy this time, we will also note the arrival of 6 new wonders which will be Monument Valley, Pamukkale, Chocolate Hills, Eldgjá, ​​the Palace of Versailles and the headquarters of the Congress of Humanity.

Finally, in addition to the new diplomatic tools offered in Together We Rule, all players will be able to benefit from a free update. This will add new stealth mechanics, rearrange independent peoples, allow third-party combat reinforcements, and add new options while improving the UI.
