The hunt for Adolf Hitler has begun! In the trailer for Season 2 of “Hunters,” the Nazi hunters target the Nazi leader who is hiding in exile. An insane and brutal journey around the globe awaits us.

Previously, Amazon had already released a first teaser for “Hunters” Season 2. In this we caught a glimpse of Adolf Hitler, played by Udo Kier, for the first time.

In Season 2, the Hunters face “perhaps the most hideous character in history.” What is meant, of course, is Adolf Hitler. As viewers learned in the season 1 finale, he is still alive.

“I think the introduction of perhaps the most villainous character in history deserves a fitting season that follows that character,” Weil said.

“My hope for Season 2 is that there’s a lot of thrill and terror, emotion, heart, catharsis and danger, and that we deliver a season that’s even bigger, that really builds on Season 1 and resonates with our audiences in a big way pays off.”

The second season 2 “Hunters” is said to contain two timelines: one focuses on the Hunters’ pursuit of Hitler in 1979 and the other takes place in the past when Meyer founded the group.

Logan Lerman (“Percy Jackson”) and Jerrika Hinton (“Grey’s Anatomy”) will also return in season 2 as Jonah Heidelbaum and Millie Moris. Jennifer Jason Leigh (“Atypical”) joins the cast as Nazi hunter Chava Apfelbaum.

Al Pacino also rejoins the cast. He plays Holocaust survivor and leader of the Hunter Meyer Offerman, who turns out to be Wilhelm Zuchs, a former Nazi doctor. This had assumed the identity of the real Meyer and founded the Hunter. Jonah killed him in season 1 when he found out his secret. Meyer will appear in flashbacks detailing the formation of the Hunters.

German actor Udo Kier (“Swan Song”) will play the dictator Adolf Hitler, who is the Hunters’ target. He will play an important role as he is the root of all evil and the main nemesis of the group.

Also starring are Josh Radnor (“How I Met Your Mother”) as Lonny Flash, Tiffany Boone (“Nine Perfect Strangers”) as Roxy Jones and Kate Mulvany (“Elvis”) as Sister Harriet.

The second season of the thriller series was also created by David Weil (“Solos”). The screenwriter and producer also serves as showrunner on “Hunters.” As in the previous season, the series will again be produced by Amazon Studios, Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Sonar Entertainment.
