(Boursier.com) — Hunyvers a specialist in the distribution of leisure vehicles, announces today that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with a view to acquiring 100% of the capital of Caravanes Cassegrain, a distributor of leisure vehicles (VDL) based in Chinon (Indre-et -Loire).
The transaction, which is expected to close no later than March 31, 2023, remains subject to the satisfaction of the usual conditions and procedures.
A family business created more than 50 years ago, Caravanes Cassegrain is now run by the founder’s daughter, Sophie Cassegrain. The concession brings together 12 employees in a store and a workshop located in the Blanc Carroi commercial area in Chinon.
Caravanes Cassegrain achieved annual revenue of 7 million euros for its financial year ended August 31, 2022, mainly in the sale of new vehicles (more than three quarters of the activity). Once the acquisition is finalized, all of the company’s managers, including Sophie Cassegrain, will continue to manage the Cassegrain company and will therefore remain players in its development.
