(Boursier.com) — Hunyvers a specialist in the distribution of leisure vehicles, announces that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with a view to acquiring the company Marine Plaisance Service, a specialist in the sale of boats based in the heart of the peninsula of Lège-Cap Ferret ( Arcachon bay).
This operation, whose final closing is expected on June 30, 2023, remains subject to the satisfaction of the usual conditions and procedures.
A family business created in 1981, Marine Plaisance Service has 23 employees and achieved a turnover of around 6 million euros during its financial year ended December 31, 2022, mainly in the sale of new pleasure boats and occasion, alongside associated services (maintenance, repair, guarding). The company shows high profitability with an operating margin historically above 20%.
This acquisition is the second made by Hunyvers in the nautical sector.
The takeover of the Nautic group in September 2020 had thus enriched the scope of the Company with three concessions for the sale, rental and management of pleasure boats. Revenue from the Nautical activity thus represented 3.7% of Hunyvers’ total revenue for the 2021/2022 financial year (9.7% including the future acquisition).
