On the occasion of Prime Day which will take place on July 11 and 12, Amazon has just announced good news for Prime subscribers. Indeed, they will be able to recover four excellent games for free, including Prey and Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition.
Apart from Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus, players also have other options to grab games for free each month. The Epic Games Store is one of them, as is Amazon Prime. For a few years now, subscribers to Amazon’s paid plan have been able to get their hands on a handful of games for free every month.
In June 2023, Amazon Prime users were able to pick up a nice selection, including Neverwinter Nights, Sengoku 2 and SteamWorld Dig 2. But obviously, the e-commerce giant still had a few surprises up its sleeve.

So we start with the excellent Prey, an FPS furiously reminiscent of Bioshock and Dishonored. For good reason, the title is signed by Arkhane Austin, studio which worked precisely on the Dishonored, Deathloop without forgetting the recent fiasco Redfall. Released in 2017, Prey is a little underrated nugget that deserves a look, if only for its Alien-like atmosphere and its varied gameplay mechanics that emphasize player creativity.
We continue with Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition, a remaster of the legendary role-playing game. Available for free from June 27, this will be an opportunity for players to (re)discover this cult game in isometric view and get up to speed before the arrival of the third episode, scheduled for this summer.
