Hybrigenics: training partnership around the MYFILL kit


(CercleFinance.com) – Hybrigenics announces that its subsidiary Stemcis, which specializes in the treatment of adipose tissue, mesenchymal stem cells and their uses in plastic surgery, has entered into a strategic partnership with Dr. Yves Depaepe, orzathopaedic surgeon specializing in the osteoarthritis treatment operating at Ghent Hospital in Belgium.

AWhile the WHO estimates that more than 130 million people will suffer from some form of osteoarthritis by 2050, Stemcis’ MYFILL kit provides an innovative solution that collects and purifies adipose tissue as part of of an autologous transplant”, indicates Hybrigenics which highlights “lasting and effective results over several years depending on the form of osteoarthritis”.

This protocol offers patients a therapeutic alternative whose results demonstrate a risk benefit greater than current treatments, continues the company.

The ambition is to create around fifty training centers in Europe dedicated to this procedure and to train around one hundred MYFILL surgeons between 2022 and 2023.
