HyDra and her teammates qualified for CoD Champs 2022

The path was complicated, but the goal is finally accomplished for our Frenchman, HyDra and his New York Subliners teammates with a qualification for the CoD Champs.

After a long season in which Hydra has experienced various changes of teammates within its New York Subliners team, our only French representative in the CDL has just qualified for a second consecutive year at Call of Duty’s biggest competition, the legendary CoD Champs.

This season of the Call of Duty League has clearly not been easy for New York Subliners fans, as the team has seen various roster changes with Neptune departing for the first time, replaced by Royalty.

Stage legend Clayster was later replaced by PaulEhx and last May Royalty and Neptune left the team leaving fourth place to KiSKMET.

And after rather disappointing results over the course of the year, the New York Subliners team, which was ranked penultimate in the league in terms of CDL Points, managed to achieve an exceptional course during the Major 4, opening up thus the doors to the CoD Champs.

HyDra will know his second CoD Champs with the New York Subliners team.

Second CoD Champs for HyDra

After a convincing first CoD Champs on Black Ops Cold War in which HyDra and his teammates from New York Subliners, Clayster, Mack and Asim finished with a Top 5/6, our French prodigy will once again taste the pinnacle competition on Call of Duty.

Back to the wall from the start of Major 4, New York Subliners were then forced to achieve an exceptional course in order to hope to collect as many points as possible to qualify for the CoD Champs.

First starting their journey against Minnesota RØKKR, the team won on the wire with a score of 3-2 before sweeping Florida Mutineers, 3-0.

Then comes the qualifying match. If New York Subliners defeat Los Angeles Thieves in the Winner Bracket Finals, then the team will travel to the Galen Center in Los Angeles on August 4 for the CoD Champs.

And at the end of a totally crazy match, HyDra and his teammates won with a score of 3-1, thus securing the last qualifying spot for CoD Champs.

Returning to great form after a win over Atlanta FaZe, Los Angeles Thieves then won against NYSL 5-3 in the Grand Final.

But nothing serious since the essential was provided by HyDra and his teammates. We will therefore be able to find him on our screens from August 4 at 9 p.m. for his first match against the very solid team of Atlanta FaZe, defending champions of the CoD Champs of last year.
