HYDROGEN PRODUCER LHYFE LAUNCHES ITS IPO

PARIS (Reuters) – French hydrogen producer Lhyfe announced on Monday the launch of its IPO in Paris with the aim of raising up to 145.5 million euros, with an indicative price range between 8.75 and 11.75 euros per share.

The company, which displays its ambition to become “a European leader in the production of green hydrogen”, specifies that it has already received subscription commitments relating to 32 to 39 million euros.

It projects a capital increase of approximately 110 million euros, likely to be increased to 145.5 million in the event of the full exercise of the over-allotment option. The subscription period opens this Monday and runs until May 20.

Created in 2017, Lhyfe claims more than 4.8 gigawatts of total installed capacity in Europe, i.e. a “green” hydrogen production of more than 1,620 tonnes per day. It announced last month that the Financial Markets Authority (AMF) had approved its universal registration document, a mandatory step before the launch of an IPO.

Lhyfe said on Monday that it had concluded a collaboration agreement with the Portuguese group EDP Renovaveis, which will subscribe to its capital increase up to 25 million euros.
