Snam4Mobility, CuboGas and HRS join forces to develop efficient hydrogen mobility solutions

– Snam4Mobility (subsidiary of Snam),
leader in the supply of integrated services for “green and smart” sustainable mobility, using natural gas and biomethane,
CuboGas (subsidiary of Snam4Mobility),
Italian market leader in the design, development and production of technological solutions for the compression of natural gas, biomethane as well as hydrogen and
HRS
designer and manufacturer, European leader in hydrogen refueling stations, have signed a memorandum of understanding (
memorandum of understanding
) aiming to launch a framework partnership to accelerate the development of efficient hydrogen mobility solutions for the European Union market.
HRS
and
CuboGas
will work together to develop and implement new initiatives in the field of hydrogen mobility infrastructure. More precisely,
Cubogas
is expected to become a non-exclusive supplier of hydrogen compressors for
HRS
since the agreement will make it possible to integrate the solutions of
CuboGas
in the resorts
HRS
large capacities (more than one ton / day of hydrogen) for light vehicles and heavy goods vehicles (including those produced by
Snam4Mobility
).
This draft framework agreement, lasting 3 years, also represents a strategic opportunity for
HRS
in terms of geographical footprint, by allowing the deployment of stations
HRS
in Italy through carbon-free mobility projects, led by
Snam4Mobility
and supported by its solid experience in the sector. Eventually, these common solutions could be deployed across the entire commercial network of the two partners.
To achieve the European Union’s ambitious targets for the decarbonisation of transport,
HRS
and
Snam4Mobility
have come together in order to pool their know-how and create synergies in the H2 ecosystem, with an emphasis on the development of refueling stations and related technologies.
