– Hydrogène de France (“HDF Energy” or the “Company”) – Euronext Paris: HDF – and PESTECH International Berhard (PESTECH) have signed a memorandum of understanding (

) to collaborate on the production of green hydrogen from hydroelectric power plants in Cambodia and Malaysia in order to decarbonize several sectors such as the electricity grid or industry.

Under this MoU, PESTECH, a Malaysian energy company, pledges to contribute to sustainable development by participating in green and renewable initiatives. Hydrogen is one of the main options for storing renewable energy to produce stable electricity around the clock and can become a clean alternative fuel for sustainable transport.

HDF Energy is accelerating its development in Asia and this memorandum of understanding recognizes its know-how in hydrogen production. In addition, its HyPower plants

could use this hydrogen in certain markets.

Through this activity, Hydrogène de France will also address the mobility, maritime and rail, and data center markets.

Hydrogène de France is thus positioned as a powerful accelerator of the energy transition by supplying non-intermittent and competitive renewable electricity, perfectly adapted to the networks and to demand.
