Last summer, we drank to discover many games, including HYENAS, a futuristic FPS developed by Creative Assembly, to whom we owe, among other things, the excellent Alien: Isolation. Since then, we haven’t had a plethora of information, although tests have been organized with the players who were lucky enough to be selected, in particular so that the developers can have some feedback and see what the potential axes of development are. ‘improvement.
At the start of the year, the studio returns to the community, announcing a new map, located in New York, called We Took Manhattan. Many references to the “Big Apple” are made and can be discovered by players. The developers explain that this is a more condensed map, where the enemies are never far away, promising more clashes and less procrastination.
Moreover, it will be possible to discover this card in preview thanks to a new series of tests, organized from this January 20. For two months, several weekends will be dedicated to the alpha, available by registering on the official website. As a reminder, in HYENAS, the objective is to go to places, as a team, in order to obtain different objects, in particular from pop culture, and to extract oneself with them. You will face other groups of players, having the same goal as you. Only, everything takes place in a more or less distant future and in space, which modifies the gravity, and the gadgets, which are a little more futuristic.
