Many independent studios gathered last night to present their games during The Triple-i Initiative and among them we find Heart Machinewho after Solar Ash decided to give a sequel to Hyper Light Drifter, soberly called Hyper Light Breaker. We discovered it two years ago at the end of March 2022 through a sensational teaser, with the promise of a Early Access on Steam in spring 2023. Last year, this period was postponed to the fall, without more success, but we were at least able to enjoy a trailer for gameplay testifying to the ambition of the studio. The action game roguelite in the open world has therefore made its return with a new preview that is always as satisfying both to see and to listen to, mainly showing us a fight against a mini-boss, the Flame Wizard.
What you have to remember is that L’Early Access is now planned for this summer on the platform of Valve. Let’s hope this time it’s the right one!
In passing, note that it is no longer Gearbox Publishing who has been responsible for publishing since the sale of the entity to Take-Two Interactive. Gearbox Publishing San Francisco has in fact been renowned Arc Gameswith the same staff at the controls.
If his predecessor Hyper Light Drifter catches your eye, it is sold without DRM on GOG.com at the price of €18.29.
