HyperTrack launches API for real-time last mile logistics

HyperTrack, which provides standard logistics application programming interfaces (APIs) for enterprises’ last-mile delivery and fulfillment operations, has launched a new development platform called BuilderX, which enables developers to build logistics technology customized for on-demand use cases.

The Berkeley, Calif.-based company also announced that it has raised $25 million in a Series A funding round led by WestBridge Capital and existing investor Nexus Venture Partners, to support the growth of company and expand global engineering teams.

Globally, analysts estimate that the logistics market represents a whopping 12% of global GDP. One of the big trends for 2022 is the shift to on-demand delivery logistics, with the mobile workforce skyrocketing the automation technology required. In light of this trend, HyperTrack provides order planning, dispatch, location tracking, and mapping infrastructure as simple APIs so that product development teams can build functional last mile logistics solutions. in days with business logic and custom workflows.

“Freelancers and the growing need for same-day delivery in the ‘here-and-now’ economy demand a rethink of the logistics stack,” Kashyap Deorah, founder and CEO of HyperTrack, told ZDNet. “This funding will help fuel our mission by changing the way all industries deliver their products and services. »

Planning and tracking down to the last mile

As the “gig economy” grows with increased demand for same-day deliveries, traditional logistics technologies can no longer accurately track the ground truth of order lifecycles, resulting in dissatisfied customers, inaccurate payments drivers and delayed product development roadmaps, Kashyap Deorah told ZDNet.

“HyperTrack brings end-to-end order fulfillment APIs to market, giving developers the tools they need to quickly build solutions for on-demand order scheduling, assignment and tracking,” he explained.

BuilderX includes software development kits (SDKs) and application programming interfaces (APIs) to plan, assign and track orders for last mile logistics with business logic and custom workflows, Kashyap Deorah said. Logistics technology creators no longer need to work for months with a team of engineers to develop consumer and driver applications on mobile phones, live location tracking, dashboard cloud operations and infrastructure, he added.

BuilderX enables every stage of an order’s lifecycle, from planning and assigning the order to the precise point of fulfillment. It is available today on the HyperTrack website.
