(AOF) – GTT received an order from its partner, the Korean shipyard HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, for the design of the tanks for two new large-capacity ethane carriers, on behalf of the shipowner Purus. GTT will design the tanks for these two ethane tankers, which will each offer a total capacity of 98,000 cubic meters, and will integrate the Mark III membrane containment system developed by GTT. Delivery of the vessels is planned between the fourth quarter of 2026 and the second quarter of 2027.
