Unveiled a few months ago and discovered recently at a presentation evening, the new 100% electric sedan Ioniq 6 from Korean manufacturer Hyundai continues to be talked about. It is true that with its 614 km of WLTP autonomy in RWD version with 77.4 kWh battery and 18-inch rims, it could be a first step towards a solution to what is still today one of the main obstacles to the acquisition of an electric vehicle: the lack of autonomy.
Indeed, with more than 600 km in the basic version and even 519 km WLTP in the four-wheel drive version and 20-inch rims, the Ioniq 6 presents some interesting arguments. It is this last proposal, called First Edition and limited to 250 copies in France, which today sees its pre-orders open.
For this first incursion on French soil, Hyundai has equipped its Ioniq 6 First Edition with 20-inch matte black rims, shiny black body fittings, and aluminum logotype applied to the front bumper and trunk lid. . Inside, you’ll find a black interior with a matching roof liner as well as bi-material seats in leather and gray tartan fabric as well as EConyl floor mats.
Four colors are available: Biophilic Blue Pearl, Serenity White Pearl, Nocturne Gray Metallic and Gravity Gold Matte, knowing that all versions are displayed at €62,500.
For this price, the first 250 customers are entitled to one year of free subscription to Ionity Premium through Charge myHyundai. According to the manufacturer, deliveries of the Ioniq 6 First Edition should take place between March and April 2023.
As a reminder, this First Edition version is equipped with two permanent magnet synchronous motors delivering 325 hp and 605 Nm of torque for a maximum speed of 185 km/h and a 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 s. This engine is powered by a 77.6 kWh battery promising 519 km of mixed WLTP autonomy with an announced consumption of 16.9 kWh/100 km. The charging time on a socket delivering 350 kW of power to go from 10 to 80% is 18 minutes.
