At over 78, Françoise Hardy remains a mother and a worried wife. The famous artist confided in an interview for our colleagues from Gala on the anxieties linked to Covid-19 concerning his loved ones.
If Françoise Hardy gave the impression of no longer wanting to fight in recent years – suffering from cancer of the larynx, the latter does not hesitate to push a rant when necessary. The 78-year-old artist gave an interview to our colleagues from Gala, to be published in the edition of Thursday, January 20, 2022.
The interpreter of My friend the Rose explains that she is not vaccinated against Covid-19, after the advice of her doctor, being immunocompromised. “I have had a lymphocyte deficiency since 2015, while the effectiveness of the vaccine depends on the T lymphocytes. If the refractory can live confined, it is up to them not to be vaccinated. But if they want to live normally, see friends, the vaccine is the minimum required to protect yourself and others” thunders the ex-girlfriend of photographer Jean-Marie Périer.
“The few visits that I am made worry me even more than before”
Françoise Hardy – who supported Emmanuel Macron, recalls that this is not the first health crisis and that to get out of it, we would have to stick together. “We forget that it is because vaccination against smallpox has been compulsory for a long time that this disease has been able to be eradicated” adds the one who remains the wife of Jacques Dutronc.
Moreover, lonely and confined for three years, Françoise Hardy deplores the current context which distances her from her family. “The current health situation has not improved anything. The few visits I receive worry me even more than before”” slips the mother of Thomas Dutronc who is currently in Corsica as part of a tour he is doing with his father. “Even if they have had their three doses of vaccine and remain very cautious, I am constantly worried about them”, she points out. A mom is a mom forever.
