The new general knowledge test for candidates for Miss France 2024 has become more complex this year, with questions on logic, current affairs, fewer multiple choice questions and dictation. Discover their reactions at the end of the ordeal.
This Friday, November 24, the 30 candidates for Miss France 2024 took the highly anticipated general knowledge test. A test that has been completely redesigned, since it contained for the first time IQ exercises but also questions on the driving license. Another new feature this year: the test concluded with a dictation exercise, read by Cindy Fabre.
It is undeniable, the general knowledge test for the class of 2024 is more difficult than previous years, but above all more complete since it also assesses the candidates’ thinking skills and spelling. “This test is not eliminatory for candidates. On the other hand, it will be difficult for the preselection committee to choose a miss who answered the questions extremely poorly.” tells us Frédéric Gilbert, producer and general director of Miss France.

Aufeminin was able to interview certain regional misses after this test. They came out of this ordeal with different feelings. “The logic questions took me a little longer, but overall, I found this test very enriching” tells us Miss Guadeloupe. Miss Franche-Comté, who loves following the news every morning, still erred on certain very specific questions.To the question ‘on which hand does Rodin’s Thinker rest his chin?’ I admit I answered randomly !”.
For Miss Alsace, who came first in her regional general knowledge test, it was very important to pass this test and we feel a little disappointment: “It’s night and day compared to previous years. The questions were very specific, it looked like a business school entrance test. It’s stressful for me because I know that when we are older, we are more expected to take the general knowledge test”. Miss Mayotte was surprised by the quantity of open questions”I was expecting a MCQ” and with a few words from the dictation: “I didn’t spell certain Guyanese dishes correctly” but she tells us she did her best.
We will still have to wait a few days to know the name of the one who obtained the best score. In the meantime, do not hesitate to test your knowledge by taking the miss general knowledge test.
