Filmmaker Nils Tavernier is the target of two rape complaints, as revealed this Friday, April 5, 2024, “Le Nouvel Obs”. The 58-year-old man is implicated by the two actresses Jennifer Covillault Miramont and Laura Lardeux who recount the sordid events which allegedly took place during filming.

Today, a new sordid case of rape and sexual assault is making the headlines. This time it is the filmmaker Nils Tavernier who is singled out by two young women. According to Le Nouvel Obs, the 59-year-old man is accused by actress Jennifer Covillault Miramont who reports inappropriate actions during filming dating from 1991, when she was only 12 years old. The complaint is filed by Laura Lardeux. This young woman speaks of events which allegedly took place in 2012 when Nils Tavernier was working on the film “With all our strength.” Using his status as director, he then promised the aspiring actress to offer her a role in his film and allegedly made advances towards him on several occasions.
The complainant who says she was manipulated ended up “letting it happen”one evening, for fear of no longer being able to work in the world of cinema. “I said “no” several times. I ended up letting it happen, I closed my eyes. After the penetration, he told me to leave, so as not to be seen.” she says in the columns of L’Obs. Nils Tavernier who says he is “stunned”, strongly denies the accusations against him.
