After winning the 13th season of Dancing with the Stars, Anthony Colette talks about how he experienced this victory. The emotion was so intense that he no longer remembers part of the evening.
Last Friday, April 26, the grand final of Dance with the stars. A thirteenth season rich in emotions and marked by the clash between Inès Reg and Natasha St-Pier. The two women were able to compete during this final and despite her excellent marks, Inès Reg was eliminated in the first part of the evening. Victory was therefore between Nico Capone and Inès Vandamme and Natasha St-Pier and Anthony Colette.
And Natasha St-Pier and Anthony Colette won this season of Dancing with the Stars, cumulatively 57% voices from the public. A dream come true for the professional dancer who was so overcome by emotion that he was unable to express himself in the first minutes. A few days after his victory, Anthony Colette spoke in the columns of Tele-Leisure to tell his feelings. And if he remembers the intensity of his emotions, unfortunately he doesn’t remember the whole evening. Indeed, when Tele-Leisure asks the dancer if he is able to put into words his feelings when the victory is announced, here is what he answers:
“Yes and no. The moment I see that we have won, It’s a childhood dream come true because I watched Dancing with the Stars when I was little. I had a black hole at the time of the result”, he says. Before adding: “I saw photos of myself again where everyone was lifting me up but I have almost no memory of that. I have flashes that come back to me but I was crying so much, I almost couldn’t breathe.”

“I was in a trance state because I was so happy. I released the pressure, we finished in style”, confides Anthony Colette. The dancer shared a post on his Instagram account where we can see him behind the scenes of the show celebrating his victory. Then Natasha St-Pier joins him with the trophy which she entrusts to her partner.
“I felt like I had won the World Cup! I’ve seen some winners in six seasons and we celebrated. There, there was emulation. It was magical, I will never forget it, it will stay with me all my life.” concludes Anthony Colette, very moved by this much-dreamed-of victory. Now, the professional dancer will finally be able to rest and take care of his back.
