A few months after making themselves known by parodying Jean-Michel Blanquer, the former Minister of National Education, these activists trapped Gérald Darmanin. This Saturday, September 24, the Minister of the Interior was traveling to Versailles, to attend a coffee debate but also to support the majority candidate in the context of a by-election. On site, several members of the Ibiza Collective were waiting for him to trap him. An activist first posed with the Minister of the Interior before unbuttoning his shirt and revealing a white T-shirt on which was written a sentence: “It’s going to be fine. Darmanin, impunity on the march”.
These words are those spoken by Gérald Darmanin to Apolline de Malherbe a few months ago. When he was invited on the set of BFM TV on February 8, the journalist then asked the Minister of the Interior if the government had not “woke up a bit late”, with the announcement by Emmanuel Macron of a law on internal security in the last months of the five-year term. In February 2018, a woman filed a complaint in Paris against the minister for abuse of weakness, leading to the opening of a preliminary investigation. In the columns of Mediapart, she claimed to have “felt obligated” to have sexual relations with him in order to obtain housing and a job in Tourcoing: “Gérald Darmanin abused me but he did not force me to have sex with him. (…) I felt obliged to do so in order to have housing and a job”. According to the testimony published by Mediapart, she had asked for the first time in September 2015 the then mayor of Tourcoing, to change accommodation.
Gérald Darmanin: the complaint of this classified woman
“He (…) told me that my housing file, he was going to take care of it. He took my hand and he put it on his sex. I understood what he wanted. I unbuttoned his pants and gave him a blowjob”, she told Mediapart. His complaint was dismissed in May 2018 by the prosecution. A few months later, the association Pourvoir féministe had asked the justice to re-examine the factsconstituting according to her a “Bribery “ According to the Paris public prosecutor’s office, the letter from the association related to the same elements already examined by the 2018 investigation and did not bring new elements likely to call into question the initial decision. It therefore confirmed, in 2020, the dismissal of this complaint.
