However, this seemingly perfect life is not everything. In a question and answer on Instagram, Iris Mittenaere revealed feeling very alone despite all the love that can surround her.

Especially since one of her friends ended her life, the victim of severe depression: “This year, the loss of Cheslie Kryst made me understand the importance of talking about it. If you become the confidant of someone who seemingly has everything. Take the time to listen to him, do not minimize what is happening to him. We all have times when we are less well. (…) We feel so much better when we talk about it.“
As a reminder, Cheslie Kryst, a lawyer elected Miss USA 2019, was found dead at the foot of her building on January 30, after jumping from the roof. A drama that could have been avoided according to the mother of the deceased: “Cheslie led a public life and a private life. In private spheres, she suffered from severe depression which she hid from everyone, including me, her closest confidante. Until very shortly before his death” she confided to People.
